Family Pictures with Public Safety Families
It's always fun when you're working with a bunch of fun loving photographers for a good cause. For the second summer in a row, I had the distinct pleasure of doing just that as I participated in the Annual Free Photos for Public Safety Families event held at Goddard State Park.
Organized by Kate Taylor of Polar Square Designs, I joined more than 10 other photographers in the park and photographed the men and women who made public safety their main occupation along with their families.
I saw families I photographed previously and met new ones. I also reacquainted myself with the photographers from the event. I have to say that Stephanie Pilkauskas of Classic Beauty Photography is just about my new photog-BFF. And I'm not just saying that because she bought me a watermelon-flavored Dels drink!
It did my heart a world of good to laugh and giggle with everyone - grownups and children alike. Just before my session time ended with the group, I was proclaimed the Best Photographer ever by the son of a police officer from my town. Ladies and Gentlemen, when a 5-year old thinks you're dope, you just drop the mike and swagger on out!
Looking forward to next year and making more memories!
