Engagement Pictures in a Library and at a Farm • Michelle and Justin • Piper Brown Photography

Michelle hired me to take some engagement pictures of her fiancé and her at the Wicked Tulips Farm. Knowing how much I love the farm, I expect it is not much of a surprise to you dear reader, that I jumped at the opportunity! Michelle and Justin are going to be married next March in a destination wedding, but they wanted some pictures of them here in the states to share with friends and family.

A firefighter and a nurse - these two were incredibly cute together. While we got to know each other, we discovered that we’re all alumnus of Rhode Island College - or as I like to say, survivors of RIC. I should definitely look into making a support group (I kid! I kid!). Justin was this quiet handsome young man who appeared ready to do whatever Michelle needed him to do. Michelle was just this bubbly gorgeous young woman who was clearly head over heels for her man. Like with all my engagement sessions, I told them I would just give them assignments that entailed loving on each other and these two knocked every assignment out of the park. I remarked to Justin shortly after we started that for a guy who proclaims he doesn’t like P.D.A. (public displays of affection), he was really comfortable kissing and holding Michelle regardless of who was around.

We started off their engagement session in Providence at the Public Library on Empire Street. This building is truly glorious and given that Michelle wanted something with old world-elegance, twas a logical pick. Then we travelled to the farm where in spite of the eternal grey skies overhead (PLEASE STOP BEING SO GLOOMY MOTHER NATURE), we all basked in the beauty and color of the farm. I’m always game for traveling to different locations when I photograph any event with my couples - be it their engagement session or on their wedding day. If this is something you have in mind, shoot me an email or text and let’s make it happen.

Readers, join me in wishing these two a gorgeous wedding day in March of 2020 and a wonderful life together!

Congratulations Michelle and Justin!
