How Kiera pulled off a gorgeous weekday wedding

planning a weekday wedding

Congratulations on your engagement! It's an exciting time in your life, and as you begin to plan your big day, you'll quickly realize how overwhelming it can be. But fret not, my friend! Piper Brown Photography is here to help! Today, we are taking a look at one beautiful weekday wedding that is sure to inspire you. Meet Chukiera, or Kiera, as her friends call her. She planned a stunning wedding to her longtime love, Horace, on a weekday at the Oceanview of Nahant in Massachusetts. With some creativity and smart planning, Chukiera pulled off a gorgeous wedding ceremony that wowed her guests. Let's dive in!

Getting married on a weekday can be a great option, as many wedding venues and vendors offer discounts for weekdays compared to peak weekends. Kiera and Horace took advantage of this and decided to go for a Tuesday wedding. This not only saved them some money but also allowed them to have more flexibility with the venue's availability. One thing to note is that all your wedding vendors hinge on the date's popularity and the venue's availability. Since the couple chose an atypical date, they could more efficiently book their DJ, videographer, and even me, their photographer. This choice made their planning process much smoother.

When it comes to choosing the right venue, it's always best to go for a location that speaks to you as a couple. Kiera and Horace chose the Oceanview of Nahant, which couldn't have been more perfect. The venue provided breathtaking ocean views, a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and a spacious reception hall. Even though it was a weekday, the venue was bustling with energy, and Kiera and Horace's guests had a fantastic time. The color scheme of their wedding was Black and White. Horace wore a White Tuxedo jacket with black piping over standard black tuxedo pants. He stood out in sharp, stylish contrast to his wedding party. Kiera's dress was an off-white mermaid wedding gown she bought off the rack at Alexandria's Boutique in Fall River. Like her husband's attendants, Keira's wedding attendants were also clad in all black, each in a satin dress that suited them.

Having your own personal touch on the wedding day is always essential. Kiera and Horace did just that by having their two-year-old son as their ring bearer. Their oldest son walked Kiera down the aisle. Their whole day was centered around family. These small touches made the wedding even more unique, and it was undeniable that the couple enjoyed themselves to the fullest.

One significant advantage of having a weekday wedding is that your guests will be more likely to take time off work and attend your special day. You can have a more intimate celebration with people who care about you the most. Yes, it may be tough for some out-of-town guests to make it, but Kiera and Horace sent out save-the-date cards that gave their guests ample time to save up and schedule time off.

Lastly, remember to have fun on your special day! With a weekday wedding, you can save some extra cash and have a celebration that is unique to your tastes. Kiera and Horace had a simple yet elegant dinner that had everyone talking. They also danced the night away with their friends and family; it was a magical experience.

In conclusion, if you're considering having a weekday wedding, take inspiration from Kiera and Horace's story. Plan wisely, choose the right venue, incorporate your personal touches, and most importantly, enjoy every single minute of it. Your wedding day is all about you and your partner, so make sure you create memories you'll cherish forever. Happy wedding planning!
