Spring Wedding at the Newport Beach House | Middletown, RI

Donatha and Tom kicked off their wedding day celebrations at the same hotel in Middletown, but obviously in different suites. I always love when both the bride and groom are in the same location, because it makes for an easy transition from one individual to another. Donatha got ready in her three-room suite with the help of her mother, best friends and several aunts and cousins, while Tom had his dad and grooms men with him in his single room suite.

Despite the glorious sunshine we had all day, the wind blowing off the Atlantic was FRIGID! Given the temperature, Donatha was the real MVP as she stood outside for all her portraits. I was in layers and couldn’t feel my face. This woman stood there with this glorious smile on her face for every shot. My clients are THE BEST!

What I love

Their session was simply beautiful. I can’t tell you how awesome it was to have access to the whole venue for their photos. We ended up using the beach and top deck most because Donatha really wanted images with the ocean in the background.

The reception was a simple affair in the grand ballroom of the beach house. Thanks to the crisp, clean white decor of the Newport Beach House, the festivities of the reception were a cinch to document. I had the good fortunate of working with DJ JoeyG of JoeyG Entertaiment again. He was the DJ at Lily and Matt’s wedding which I photographed at the Segregansett Country Club last fall. It was a pleasure working with him again!

Congratulations to these two! Wishing them many years of love, laughter and happiness.

Cheers!
